Every school holidays, our little corner of Fremantle gets a bit louder. You can hear guitars coming from one room, drums from another and plenty of laughter in between. Some kids arrive bursting with excitement. Others walk through the door a little nervous. Three hours later they’re standing on stage with a band, performing for their family and wondering if they can come back tomorrow.

No pressure. No auditions. No experience required. Just real instruments, real musicians and a place where young people can discover what they’re capable of.

Students explore guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals while they prepare for their performance at the end of the session.

Places are limited and sessions run with a minimum of four participants.
